- Soak urad dal and the rice separately for 8 hours or overnight. Then grind it separately in a fine paste and leave it to ferment for 8 hours. (IF U HAVE DOSA BATTER U CAN SKIP THIS STEP AND USE THE DOSA BATTER)
- Soak the grated bottle gourd in water with salt for 10 mins.
- After fermentation mix the two batter properly by adding salt. Add the bottle gourd to the batter and mix it well.
- Apply oil to a pan and pour a small portion of the batter and cook it for 2-3 mins in a low - medium flame. Flip it to the other side and cook it for another 2-3 mins.
