- In a bowl add besan, cornflour, a pinch of salt and some water. Mix them well to make a batter of spoon coating consistency.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Dip the marinated bottle gourd rounds into the batter and deep fry until golden brown and crisp over a low medium flame. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Now ready is the crispy bottle gourd fritters. Serve hot with tomato sauce and mint chutney.
