The ingredients needed to make Gur Papri:
  1. Get 1 kg Wheat flour
  2. Take Edible Gum (goond)1/2kg
  3. Make ready Jiggery(gur) 2 glass or 1 1/4 kg
  4. Take 1 kg Ghee
  5. Get 100 gm Poppy seeds(khush khush)
  6. Take 250 gm Almond
  7. Prepare 250 gm Pistachio
Instructions to make Gur Papri:
  1. Heat 1/2 kg ghee and fry edible gum when it swells remove from heat and crush. Fry nuts and crush them too.
  2. In the same pan add remaining ghee and fry wheat flour until it becomes golden brown and fragrant add half poppy seeds and nuts to it mix well and remove from heat.
  3. In the same ghee add jiggery melt it and make sheera of it.add flour gum and nuts to it mix well and cook for 2 minutes stirring continuously.
  4. Spread evenly in a pan or thaal, sprinkle remaining poppy seeds on top and mark the shape which you want to cut them in.
  5. Let it cool and set then cut in pieces and enjoy.you can store it in a air tight jaar for whole season
