  9. Take 2 tblsp Gond / Edible Gum

    1. First slightly dry roast the grated coconut, melon seeds, makhane, almonds, and cashews and keep aside.
    1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the gond/ edible gum on medium flame till it gets nicely puffs up.
    1. Add makhane, almonds, cashews and gond in a blender jar and blend it for 5 sec
    1. Now mix grated coconut, melon seed, blended mixture, raisins, and cardamom powder together.
    1. Now add coconut mixture into the sugar syrup and mix well.
    1. Pour and spread the mixture into the greased thali or tray. Let it cool till it get set. Cut into desired shape pieces.
    1. Your Nariyal Katli/ Nariyal Barfi is ready to serve.
    1. To make sugar syrup mix sugar and 1/2 cup water in a wok and boil for 10 minutes till slightly become thick to get 2 threads syrup. You can check the sugar thread by pressing a sugar syrup drop between your fingers.
