- Get 2 green cardamom
- Take 1 inch cinnamon
- Get 1 tablespoon oil
- Prepare For smoking:-
- Make ready 1 metal bowl
- Get 1 coal piece
- Make ready As required ghee
- Take 1 pinch hing / asafoetida
Steps to make Smoky Paneer Masala:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add black pepper, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, red chilli.
- Add the onions and saute it till changing the colour. add cashews and tomatoes.
- Now off the flame, cool it and make fine paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add add jeera, onions, capsicum and saute it. Now Ginger garlic paste. Now all dry masalas and paste and saute for a few seconds.
- Now add paneer and salt and half cup water. Stir it gently. Cook it on low flame. Add kasoori methi and fresh cream.
- Heat the coal on the flame. Place a Bowl in pan. Add a few drops of ghee on the coal, a pinch of Hing and close the lid. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Open the lid after 5 minut and remove the bowl. Stir it. Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve it hot with roti, paratha, naan or kulchas.
