Instructions to make Rasam:
  1. Boil Dal water and keep it aside.
  2. Soak tamarind.
  3. To the pan add oil, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped onion, stir for a while.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, redchilies, turmeric, Rasam powder,salt. Stir and cover the lid for a while.
  5. Add tamarind extract and chopped coriander leaves, cover the lid to remove sarness. Add Dal wwater and cover the lid.
  6. Serve hot with plain white rice.
