  1. Take a nonstick kadhai, heat ghee. Keep flame low. Add siffed besan to it once ghee melts.
  2. Mix ghee and besan well. Keep stirring. Continuously on a low flame for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Besan will form a smooth paste like consistency. You can observe the golden colour of the besan, if it hasn't developed,keep roasting more.
  4. After it get desired consistency and colour, remove kadhai from heat. Stir it to cool down.
  5. NOTE- don't add sugar instantly. Let the besan mixture cool down for atleast 20 minutes.
  6. After it's cooled, add the sugar,elaichi powder and nuts(optional) and mix well.
  7. Take a ball size from dough and roll between palms to form round shape.Similarly make the remaining ladoos.
  8. You can make any design if you want. I topped it with dried cranberries. Don't wait, just take a bite!!!!!!!!!!

Besan is roasted in ghee till golden brown appearance with a nutty fragrance. Besan ladoo will keep for up to two weeks at room temperature.
