Instructions to make Non Fried Bakata Vada Aloo Bonda:
  1. Firstly smash boiled potatoes, add Aamchur, Salt, Asafoetedia, ginger, Chillies, Turmeric powder, Sugar, Garam Masala and mix it.
  2. Take oil in a container, heat it add Mustard Seeds, Curry leaves, Coriander leaves. Roast till it crackles Add it to potato mixture. Mix well.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls.
  4. Prepare flowing consistency batter from besan after adding all dry ingredients to it. Add 1 Tbsp hot oil to the batter to get soft vada's.
  5. Heat Appam Patra on medium flame and brush with oil. Dip Vada in the batter and place it in the Appam Patra.
  6. If you don't have an Appam Patra, heat a kadai on low flame. Add very little oil and put the Vada in it.
  7. Cook on low flame for 2 - 3 minutes. Turn the side and cook till golden brown. Repeat this. Till it's crispy. No need to add oil.
  8. Vada prepared in kadai.
