- Soak tamarind in water for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes mash tamarind and strain the mixture into a bowl using a sieve.
- Add 1 glass water,black salt,turmeric powder and plain salt.
- Roughly grind onion,garlic cloves,curry leaves,tomato,cumin seed and black pepper.
- In a pan heat oil,splutter mustard seed,add green and red whole chilli,currey leaves and asafoetida. Saute it.Add grinded masala and cook for 2 minutes.
- Once cooked add tamarind water and cook for 1 minute and serve.
