  16. Prepare 1 tbsp maida / plain flour / refined flour / all-purpose flour
  17. Prepare 1/2 tsp pepper, crushed
  18. Prepare 1/4 tsp salt
  19. Make ready 1/4 cup water
  20. Make ready as required oil for frying
  21. Prepare 1/2 cup boiled peas
  22. Make ready 1/2 cup semolina
Instructions to make Beetroot Cutlet:
  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl squeeze off juice from 2 cups of grated beetroot.
  2. Add in 1 boiled and 1/2 cup boiled mashed potato and peas.
  3. Also add ¼ onion and all spices. - add in ¼ cup bread crumbs add 2 tbsp coriander leaves. - combine well making sure all the spices are mixed well and dough is formed.
  4. Further prepare the patties from beetroot dough.
  5. Dip in corn flour batter covering both sides.
  6. Then roll in semolina on both the sides.
  7. Deep fry, shallow fry or pan fry the patties in hot oil.
  8. Flip and fry both the sides on medium flame till it turns golden and crisp.
  9. Finally, drain over kitchen paper to remove excess oil and serve beetroot cutlet or beetroot patties with tomato sauce and green Chutney.
