The ingredients needed to make Natto omelet:
  1. Make ready 2 eggs
  2. Make ready 1 tsp mayonnaise
  3. Make ready 2-3 tbsp chopped green onion
  4. Make ready 2 packs Natto
  5. Make ready 2 tbsp canola oil

DIRECTIONS Add the onions & natto to the egg mixture. How can you make natto taste good? After all you hear people love these fermented soybeans. Sometimes nattō is used in other foods, like sushi, miso soup, and Japanese omelettes called tamagoyaki.

Instructions to make Natto omelet:
  1. Usually store bought natto packs come with sauce and Japanese mustard.
  2. Mix natto with the attached sauce. (You don’t need mustard for this recipe.)
  3. Beat eggs in a bowl and add mayonnaise and chopped green onion.
  4. Add canola oil into a pan. Once heated, add egg mix and cook for a couple of minutes on medium heat. When half cooked, add natto in the middle.
  5. Once the egg mix is ready to be flipped, wrap natto from both ends and make an omelet.(Inside of omelet is still very wet and sticky when all cooked. That’s ok!)
