  2. Combine all the ingredients except the nuts in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir to combine.
  3. In a separate bowl, add the nuts and the pour the butter mixture over top the nuts. Stir to coat the nuts completely.
  4. Bring your smoker up to 250°F per the manufactures instructions and add some hickory wood chips.
  5. Place the coated almonds and pecans on a small baking sheet and pop in the smoker for 30-40 minutes. Halfway through the cooking process, remove the nuts from the smoker and give them a stir.
  6. Remove from the smoker and let cool for 10 minutes. Add additional salt if needed. Serve to your BBQ guests.
