  1. Take 1 cup milk powder
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup sugar
  3. Get 1 tsp ghee (warm)
  4. Make ready 2-3 cardamom
  5. Make ready 10 pistachios / cashew
  6. Get 2 tsp raisins

Traditionally, this Ladoo is made with Paneer and Malai mixed together. You can also add Paneer to mawa and make this Ladoo but if you don't have mawa then you can mix Paneer and condensed milk. Instructions to make Malai ladoo:
  1. Powder sugar with cardamom until it is super fine.
  2. Fry raisins until they bloat and set aside. In a mixing bowl, take milk powder, powdered sugar, crushed nuts, raisin and melted ghee.
  3. Mix well and shape the mixture to ladoos. It takes a while to press and form the shape, so press firmly for laddu holding shape.
  4. Put some pista on the top & Consume within a week, you can keep at room temperature. Taste is yummy.
  5. Note: Initially the milk powder tends to stick to hands and it will take a while for holding it's shape. Keep pressing firmly for the shape to hold.

I had made malai ladoo, a couple of times before using condensed milk. Malai ladoo is a mildly sweet Indian sweet that is very soft and "melts in the mouth" with the hints of kewra and cardamom. It is made up of cottage cheese (paneer) and condensed milk and is very quick. This Malai Ladoo is a very easy beginners recipe. There are just two main ingredients in this recipe.
