  1. Powder sugar and elachi finely in a blender jar.set aside.
  2. Heat 4tsp ghee in a heavy bootom pan. when it melts transfar 2.1/2tsp ghee to a small bowl and retain the rest in the pan.
  3. Add besan to the pan and stir well to coat the flour with ghee
  4. On a medium flame keep stirring and begin to roast the besan.
  5. When it begins to turn slightly aromatic and changes to slightly deeper colour set the flame to lowest.
  6. Then add the rest of the 2.1/2tsp ghee.
  7. Keep roasting on a low flame stirring continuously without stopping till turn deep golden in colour and aromatic.
  8. After remove the pan quickly from the stove.
  9. When besan cools down add powdered sugar mix well to combine the sugar.If required knead with your hand to mix it.
  10. Take small portions and press down in your plan to roll to balls.You can make 8 ladoos.I use cashew nuts for decoration…

Besan is roasted in ghee till golden brown appearance with a nutty fragrance. Besan ladoo will keep for up to two weeks at room temperature.
