The ingredients needed to make Fruity Buns:
  1. Get 500 g all purpose flour
  2. Make ready 6 tbsp sugar
  3. Get 1 tsp salt
  4. Take 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  5. Get 6 tbsp margarine
  6. Get 2 eggs
  7. Prepare Handful raisins(adjust to preference)
  8. Take 1 cup milk
Instructions to make Fruity Buns:
  1. Mix and sieve flour and salt, make a hole in the middle and place aside
  2. Put sugar, milk, margarine, eggs and yeast in a blender and blend slightly. (I don't have a whisk that's why I blended but a whisk works well). Add the wet ingredients in the flour mixture
  3. Knead till firm but soft. Cover with a cling film and place in a warm area for 1 hour for the dough to rise
  4. After an hour, the dough has risen. Puch it down and shape into various balls. In each of my balls, I placed raisins in between then place on your prepared baking tin
  5. Space them and cover the baking tin with a cling film and let the dough rest for another half an hour
  6. After 30mins, the balls have doubled in size. Egg wash the buns and make small slits on the buns since mine were big in size. Put to bake for 25 mins at 180 degrees
  7. Remove and place on a rack to cool
  8. Make your sandwich as desired. I made egg sandwiches from mine. Enjoy
