Instructions to make Baked Mac and Cheese:
  1. Cook elbow macaroni to desired tenderness.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  3. Combine the velveeta, the cheddar cheese, milk and 1 TBSP butter in sauce pan. Under low heat blend and tell smooth. Turn off flame. Add the half cup sour cream.
  4. Put remaining butter into a 2 quart baking dish and place in oven why preheating oven until melted.
  5. Drain elbow macaroni and return to pot. Combine with cheese sauce and mix.
  6. Place mixture into casserole dish. Sprinkle paprika on top. Bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven. Sprinkle top with small amount oheddar cheese. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Baked Mac n Cheese - This is the perfect Holiday side dish, Mac and Cheese. Actually this is a classic side dish that is good. Some 'scratch' mac-n-cheese recipes seem to require too much flour or baking time and the texture can be very grainy. Only changes - I omitted the worcestorshire and used a little extra cheese on top. Now, I just need to scale the recipe to serve several people and I will proudly prepare.
