Our dum aloo recipe is also called Punjabi dum aloo. Chilli-coated potatoes in dum aloo curry are cooked with cream, tomatoes and a flavourful paste of whole spices and onions. Dum Aloo or Aloo Dum, a rich and special dish in Kashmiri Cuisine and also in Punjabi Cuisine. The baby potatoes are first deep fried, then cooked slowly at low flame in a gravy with spices.

  2. Heat oil in pan fry potatoes for 75% keep aside mix dry ginger powder and fennel powder in water.
  3. Heat oil in pan add shahjeera black elaichi cloves red chilli powder hing add mixture of dry ginger powder and fennel powder add curd while adding curd slow down flame and keep stirring.
  4. Again deep fry potatoes and add in gravy cook it serve with roti rice.
