- We can use Sona Masoori raw rice also. But Idli rice gives more taste and softness.
- Grind grated coconut, soaked rice and needed salt into a coarse paste by adding little water.
- Take thick base flattened vessel or a kadai. Pour water and add little salt and coarse paste to the kadai. Mix well.
- Keep in full flame and allow to boil.
- Once water boils, keep in low flame. Make balls and put it into the kadai.
- Once all the balls done, keep the flame in medium. Allow to cook.
- After 5 minutes slowly move the balls. After 10 minutes check whether ballls are cooked. Once it is cooked turn off the flame.
