  17. Make ready 1 tsp mustard seeds
  18. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  19. Make ready 1 pinch asafoetida
  20. Take 12-15 curry leaves
  21. Make ready to taste Salt
Instructions to make Quick Dum Aloo:
  1. Boil the potatoes, peel it and cut into cubes. - Grind tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli and make a smooth paste. - Heat mustard oil, add all the tadka ingredients. - When mustard seeds start crackle, add tomato paste. - Let it cook for some time, till the raw smell of tomatoes gone.
  2. Now add all the spice masalas to hung curd except garam masala and mix it well. - Add this hung curd mix to tomato paste in low flame, mix it well. - Let it cook for some time, now add garam masala. - Add the boiled potatoes and hot water. - Rub the kasuri methi and add this to duma loo. - When it starts boiling, cover the cooker and give two sities in high flame.
  3. Now to make this more flavourful, I make instant tadka. - Just heat mustard oil,add kashmiri red chilli powder and curry leaves. - Add this to the gravy. - It's done…serve hot
