  1. Scrub the potatoes. Boil them. Peel off the skin. Fry them in oil. Poke holes on the potatoes.
  2. Whisk curd. Add besan/chickpea flour and chilli powder. Whisk till they combine well.
  3. Heat oil. Add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Saute.
  4. Add in the curd mixture. Cook on low flame with constant stirring.
  5. Add the potatoes. Mix well.
  6. Mix in the ginger powder, fennel powder, pepper powder and salt.
  7. Add 1/2 cup water. Cook closed on low flame for about 5 mins.
  8. Offer Dum Aloo along with roti to Lord Sri Krishna. Honor Krishna Prasadam.
