- In a bowl,add potatoes,onion, green chillies,red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder,chaat masala,lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, bread crumbs, salt and mix well

- Make refine flour slurry and ensure that it does not have lumps and bread crumbs on a plate. Then dip the potato balls in the slurry and coat it with bread crumbs
- Keep the balls to be frozen in the freezer for 15 mins
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls on high flame. Give the pan a light stir and fry the balls untill golden brown
- Now put the fried balls on a serving plate and garnish it with some tomato ketchup on top
- Now the balls are ready to serve
When they are golden brown, take them out with a slotted spoon. Traditional Taiwanese taro balls use sweet potato starch (地瓜粉,红薯粉). Tapioca flour has also been used. But the texture balls produced would be slightly different. Or, for a better flavor, fry in vegetable oil until lightly browned.
