  1. Put 1 tablespoon of Canola Oil in large pot on medium heat. Add beef chuck pieces and brown on both sides.
  2. Add onions, garlic, tomatillos, jalapeños, cumin and cilantro. And 4 cups of water. With salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
  4. Remove beef from pot, shred and toss with lime juice, salt and pepper.
  5. Warm tortillas in a paper towel in microwave for about one minute or until soft.
  6. Place 2 tablespoons of meat and 1 tablespoon of cheese on a tortilla and roll it up. And repeat until tortillas and meat are finished.
  7. Heat 1 cup of Canola oil in a large skillet till hot but not smoking. About 350°.
  8. Gently place Flautas in the oil seam side down. Cook on each side until golden brown if using flour tortillas or until crispy if using corn tortillas. About 1 min on each side.
