  1. Roast half crushed vermicelli in ghee and set aside.Chop all dry fruits vertically, roast in ghee and set aside.
  2. Boil milk, then let it cook on low flame till half the quantity.Add semi crushed vermicelli and boil.Check that no lumps are formed.Add sugar,condensed milk or khowa.If using condensed milk adjust sugar.A pinch of salt enhances the taste.Add the chopped dry fruits except raisins and boil for sometime.Add raisins when the dessert is partially cool.Sprinkle cardamom and rose water.Few strands of saffron soaked in warm milk lends a beautiful colour to the dish but optional.Serve chilled.
