  3. Boil 1 cup of water only for the Jell-O. Add water to Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Set aside and let cool for 15 minutes
  4. In a large bowl, cream together remaining sugar, cream cheese and vanilla.
  5. Add cooled Jell-O to cream cheese mixture and blend well. Add cool whip and blend well. Fold in pineapple.
  6. Spread mixture evenly over cooled crust and chill for 2 hours or until set. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs lightly over dessert for garnish.
