- Make ready 1/3 cup sugar

- Chop the mango pieces and add to the mixer jar. Now add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron.
- Blend till smooth and keep aside.
- In a kadai or pan take 3 tbsp ghee and let it melt. Now add 1/2 cup rava or suji.
- Roast the suji in the ghee on a low medium flame stirring continuously.
- Once the rava is roasted well then it will become aromatic and its colour will also change. The ghee will starts separating. Now add mango purée and mix well.
- Now add boiling water slowly. Keep stirring the halwa so that lumps are not formed.
- After stirring cover the pan with a lid and cook on a low flame for 4 mins. All the water will be absorbed and kesari will be done.
- Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve mango Kesari.
