Instructions to make Mushroom Masala:
- Take some lukewarm water. Put half of the turmeric powder (see in the ingredients). Wash and clean mushrooms.
- Cut the mushrooms into half length wise. Mix rest of the turmeric powder with the chopped mushrooms. - - Take them in a microwave oven bowl and cook for 4 minutes. Don't discard the water from mushrooms after cooking in microwave.
- In a wok heat 1 tsp oil - and ghee. Spulter shahjeera. Add rest of the masala from the ingredients section except crushed dry fenugreek leaves. Cook for 3 minutes in low medium heat.
- Let the cooked masala cool. Grind them to a paste.
- In the same wok heat 1 tsp oil and cook the ground masala in low heat till oil separate. - - Add the cooked mushrooms with water. Adjust salt and water according to the gravy. Cook covered for 1 minute. Serve cooked Mushroom Masala with steamed Rice or Roti. - Thanks
