  14. depending on your stove it should be cooked for about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. by then the beans will be nice and soft and the tomato sauce would've thickened (make sure sauce is not too thick, it needs to be a little bit runny). you can add more salt and pepper if needed. it can be eaten like that or with your choice of meat, fish or chicken
