- Prepare 1/2 cup Walnuts
- Make ready 1 Cup milk
- Take 2 tablespoons ghee
- Prepare 1/2 Cup sugar
- Take 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- Take as required Dry fruits like Almonds,Raisins,Cashew nuts to garnish
Instructions to make Walnut Halwa:
- Take all the ingredients in the picture.
- Soak the walnuts in milk for 45 mins.
- Take soaked walnuts from the milk and grind them in a mixer jar coarsely add 2 teaspoon milk to the jar while grinding.
- Take a pan,Add ghee and warm it, add these walnut mixture to the pan, cook it and stir it continously till it become golden brown.
- Add the milk to this pan. Use the milk which we used in soaking the walnuts only. Now cover the pan and cook it till all milk evaporates, stir this in between so that it doesnot get stick to the pan.
- Now add sugar and stir the halwa continuously. Add cardamom powder.
- Cook the halwa till it separates from pan, Garnish it with dry fruit cuttings.
