  20. Take 1 tbsp melon seeds

  23. Take 1 bay leaf
  24. Prepare 1-2 black Cardamom
  25. Get 1/2 teaspoon Shahi jeera
  26. Make ready 1 inch cinnamon
  27. Prepare 2-3 green cardamom
  28. Take 2-3 tbsp ghee/ butter/oil
Instructions to make Shahi Paneer Curry:
  1. Boil onions, cashews, almonds, ginger, garlic and almonds in 1.5 cups water for 8-10 minutes
  2. Strain the water and keep stock aside. Grind the mixture to smooth paste
  3. Heat ghee in a pan. Add all masala (whole spices) and saute for 2-3 minutes
  4. Add ground paste and saute until mixture starts leaving sides of the pan
  5. Add spice powders and mix well
  6. Add stock, whisked curd, salt and little sugar. Mix well
  7. Stir and cook for 8-10 minutes over low medium heat
  8. Add Cardamom powder and crushed saffron. Mix well
  9. Add paneer and whisked cream. Mix well
  10. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add kewra essence and mix well
  11. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapati, roti or naan
