  1. Prepare 500 gFlour
  2. Make ready Pinch salt
  3. Make ready Butter (I used liquid cooking oil)

  5. Get 2 teaspoon vanilla Essence
  6. Make ready 4 eggs (I used 2eggs)
  7. Make ready Quarter cup of sugar (I used less not a sugar fan)
  8. Get Icing sugar and glucose (I used glucose since I had no icing)
Steps to make Sugar Doughnuts:
  1. Sift flour together with baking powder for easy mixing of these two.
  2. Mix the eggs,salt and sugar until fully incorporated then add the butter (melted) or cooking oil and mix together. Note that I used a hand mixer. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. Then add the flour bit by bit as you keep on mixing. It will reach a point where you'll need to use hands to knead the dough add flour if still runny
  4. Let the dough rest for sometime maybe ten minutes then roll as in the photo
  5. I used a cup and bottle top for shape but doughnut maker works best
  6. Use under low heat and turn only when it has started browning then turn to the other side. This will ensure it doesn't break
  7. When ready put in a dish to cool
  8. After they have cooled completely dip in a mixture of icing sugar and glucose.
