Instructions to make Non fried Vada-steamed vada:
  1. Mash the potatoes.
  2. Heat oil and add paste curry leaves, turmeric powder.
  3. Add to the mashed potatoes.
  4. Add salt and mix well.
  5. In a bowl add besan salt and water to make thick paste/batter.
  6. Boil some water in kadai and put a greased strainer/chalni.
  7. Make the balls of the potato mixture.
  8. Dip the ball one by one in batter and keep on the strainer.
  9. Cover with lid and let it cook on medium flame for 12-15mins.
  10. It is ready and serve with garlic chutney.

Frying process Vada pav: Turn on the flame, heat sufficient oil in a pan. Coat the prepared potato balls with gram flour batter and gently put it into the oil. Apply green chutney and red chutney inside the pav bread. Put one fried vada inside the pav, vada pav is ready to serve, serve it hot with fired green.
