The ingredients needed to make Mango Halwa:
  1. Get 4 cups Alphonso mango pulp
  2. Take 1/4 cup Almond
  3. Get 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  4. Get 1/2 cup cashewnuts
  5. Make ready 1 cup corn starch
  6. Make ready 1/2 cup ghee
  7. Take 4 cups sugar
  8. Get 1 cup water
Instructions to make Mango Halwa:
  1. Heat 1/4 cup of ghee to it. Add mango pulp to it. Dilute corn starch with water. Mix well without forming lumps. Once mango mix is hot add corn starch mix to it. Keep stirring until it thickens. Add sugar to it and keep on stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.it will take about 45 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ghee every 10 minutes while stirring.
  3. Add almonds, cashew nuts and cardamom powder to it and mix well.
  4. Transfer the mix into a greased pan. Let it cool for 3 hours.
  5. Cut into desired shapes.
