- Add the chana daal to a blender and then add cumin, saunf, cinnamon and salt and pulse a few times to get a thick mixture.
- Into this mixture add the onions, chillies, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and haldi and mix everything together.
- Make small balls out of this mixture and then flatten them in your palm and deep fry on a medium flame.
- Remove them from the oil once they turn golden and crisp and drain excess oil on a tissue paper.
- Serve hot with chutney
