The ingredients needed to make Mum’s Old English Rice Pudding:
  1. Get Pudding Rice (or any short style grain rice)
  2. Prepare White Sugar
  3. Make ready Full cream Milk
  4. Prepare Unsalted Butter
  5. Prepare Treacle or Strawberry Jam (to serve)

  4. Put the dish in to a fan assisted oven to a heat of 150.C. Stir after 15 minutes and continue to cook for a further 60 mins. Check often there after and remove when it has a skin that’s lightly browned. Serve with either treacle or jam… or maybe enjoy it alone.

Rice pudding (in a slow cooker). Exactly as the title says, this is my Mum's Traditional English Yorkshire Pudding recipe and it is so easy. It is slightly different from my Toad-in-the-Hole batter recipe, the Yorkshire puddings in this recipe are lighter. (You need a more substantial batter for the addition of sausages!!)
