- Take 1 cup arhar dal and 1 chopped tomato (tur dal) Boil the dal in pressure cooker up to 3 whistles and keep it aside.
- Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 chopped onion.. and 1 chopped potato.
- Stir it till onion is half cooked..
- Add red chilli powder salt and 1 tsp sambhar masala..
- Add dal and mix it well..
- Cook the lentils for 10 minutes..
- Ready to serve..
