Make horizontal slits into each paneer square to cut it into half leaving it joined from one end. Do not cut through till the edge of the paneer square. - Mix all the ingredients for making batter except water and cooking Oil. Make a batter by adding water slowly. Adjust the consistency. Keep aside for half an hour. Mix chopped coriander leaves and grated garlic.
- Cut paneer in small pieces for making pakode. Slit green chilli in the centre and fill chaat masala inside.
- Heat oil in a karahi and dip paneer pieces and green chilli in batter and leave in karahi. Fry till golden brown. Flip the side and fry from other side also.
- Like wise make all the pakodas.
- Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
