  1. Take as needed Desi ghee
  2. Get 1 pinch Hing / asafoetida
  3. Get 1 tsp jeera / cumin
  4. Get 3-4 medium sized tomatoes
  5. Prepare 20 gms khoya
  6. Make ready 10-15 cashews
  7. Prepare 1 small piece ginger
  8. Prepare 4 tsp Coriander Powder
  9. Get 1 tsp haldi / turmeric
  10. Prepare to taste Salt
  11. Take 1 tsp sugar
  12. Get 1 tsp red chilli
  13. Take 1.5 cup milk
  14. Prepare 1.5 TBSP malai or fresh cream
  15. Make ready as required Water
  16. Get 2 tsp Amchur powder / dry mango
  17. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  18. Take 500 gms Paneer
Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
  1. Make puree of tomatoes, khoya, ginger and cashews.
  2. Take a wok, add desi ghee, heeng and jeera. Crackle it.
  3. Then add tomato puree with coriander powder, mirch and haldi powder. Cook for 2-3 mins.
  4. Add milk, malai, sugar and water. Cook this for another 15-20 mins. Keep stirring in between.
  5. Now add salt, amchur and garam masala. Mix them nicely. Lastly add paneer cubes. Cook for another 2-3 mins. Ready to serve.
