- Take as needed Desi ghee
- Get 1 pinch Hing / asafoetida
- Get 1 tsp jeera / cumin
- Get 3-4 medium sized tomatoes

- Prepare 1 small piece ginger
- Prepare 4 tsp Coriander Powder
- Get 1 tsp haldi / turmeric

- Get 1 tsp red chilli
- Take 1.5 cup milk
- Prepare 1.5 TBSP malai or fresh cream
- Make ready as required Water
- Get 2 tsp Amchur powder / dry mango
- Get 1 tsp garam masala
- Take 500 gms Paneer
Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
- Make puree of tomatoes, khoya, ginger and cashews.
- Take a wok, add desi ghee, heeng and jeera. Crackle it.
- Then add tomato puree with coriander powder, mirch and haldi powder. Cook for 2-3 mins.
- Add milk, malai, sugar and water. Cook this for another 15-20 mins. Keep stirring in between.
- Now add salt, amchur and garam masala. Mix them nicely. Lastly add paneer cubes. Cook for another 2-3 mins. Ready to serve.
