  1. Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a small Pan.
  2. Add 2 tsp mustard seeds
  3. And as they crackle add garlic pods to it.
  4. Add boiled potatoes green chillies asafoetida
  5. Add turmeric powder salt and red chilli powder
  6. Add coriander leaves.
  7. Mix everything well and make small tomedium balls
  8. From the mashed potatoes.
  9. Flatten these ball a bit Cover and keep aside.
  10. In another bowl make Smooth batter from gram flour
  11. Turmeric powder baking soda and salt.
  12. Heat oil in a wok.
  13. Dip the flattened Patato balls in the batter and coat it evenly with the batter and fry.
  14. Slice the bun from center without breaking them.
  15. Spread green chutney on one part and tarind chutney on another part of the bun in between.
  16. Sprinkle some chat masala on the chutney.
  17. Place the hot batata vada sandwich in the center.
  18. Serve vada pavwith some fried green chilies.
