The ingredients needed to make Mango Panna Cotta:
  1. Take 1 1/2 cups mango puree
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp. gelatin
  3. Prepare 1 cup water
  4. Get 1 1/2 cups milk
  5. Get 3-4 tbsp. sugar
  6. Get 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder (reserve some to garnish)
  7. Prepare 1 cup fresh cream
  8. Get few mango pieces to garnish
  9. Prepare mint sprigs to garnish
  10. Prepare few saffron strands to garnish
Instructions to make Mango Panna Cotta:
  1. Dissolve 1 tbsp. gelatin in 1 cup lukewarm water for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Add 2 tbsp. sugar to the puree (depending on the sweetness of the mango). Mix well.
  3. Add the dissolved gelatin to the mango puree and give it a stir.
  4. Pour into individual glasses, that are kept at an angle and half fill the glass. Chill till it is set.
  5. Meanwhile, mix the remaining gelatin in the milk and set aside for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Then bring the milk to a boil and add the sugar and……
  7. ……..cardamom powder. Stir till it dissolves and set aside till it comes to room temperature.
  8. Mix the cream in it and combine well.
  9. Fill the glasses with the milk and again chill for 2-3 hours or till it completely sets.
  10. Garnish with chopped mango and mint sprig, saffron strands and a sprinkle of some cardamom powder.
