Steps to make Single pot chicken haleem:
  1. Soak lentils and wheat for 5-6 hrs in plain water
  2. Collect dry spices together
  3. Chopped onions, heat oil and add onions into it
  4. Fry onions till golden color achieved
  5. Add coriander, turmeric, red chilli and salt into onions and mix for 1-2 minutes
  6. Make paste for ginger and garlic and add into masala. Cook till oil seperated
  7. Add yoghurt and mix again till oil seperated
  8. Add chicken pieces into masala and stir till chicken become tender.
  9. Add some water and let chicken cook well
  10. Take out chicken pieces into plate and keep a side to cool and than shred by hand
  11. Add more water into masala, let it boil
  12. Add soaked lentils and wheat into cooker and close the lid tightly. Cook on high flame till first whistle comes than turn heat on low flame cook for 35-40 minutes. You can check in between if you are not comfortable with 35 minutes and close lid of pressure cooker again
  13. Release pressure and and open the lid. Stir the haleem with spoon
  14. Now with hand blender blend to keep the desired consistency
  15. Cook again for 5-10 minute
  16. Add chat masala and whole spice masala and mix well
  17. Add shredded chicken and mix.
  18. Cook for another 5-10 minutes and than serve with garnishing, enjoy with family and friends
