Ofada rice and sauce is our traditional food in Nigeria, Ogun state to be precise It is usually eaten with this delicious sauce. Ofada rice is better eaten with a sauce. The most delicious sauce for the Ofada rice is known as Ayamase (also known as designer stew). I marveled the first time I saw someone preparing the sauce because until then, I never heard of it.

Instructions to make Ofada rice and sauce:
  1. To cook our ofada rice but your pot on fire with water.
  2. Pick your rice for any dirty particles wash and add to the boiling water on fire.
  3. Allow to per boil then wash it severely for the mould in it to goes off.
  4. Put ur pot back with the quantity of water that will cook the rice, when done pack it into your warmers.
  5. For the sauce
  6. Wash all ur vegetables and blend them.
  7. Put ur pot on fire allow to dry off then add in your palm oil and cover it to allow it to bleach when done add in your locust beans and fry then turn in your blended vegetable inside to fry also.
  8. When almost done add in ur crayfish meat, offal, pomo,stock fish and seasoning cubes, add in ur peeled boiled eggs and taste for for your seasoning if ok allow to simmer for few minutes.
  9. And then your ofada sauce is ready.
  10. Serve it with ofada rice.
