Chicken keema is a simple and easy to make Indian dish with chicken mince, onions,tomatoes, spices and herbs. Minced meat known as keema or qeema is used to make various dishes like curry, paratha, samosa, sandwiches, cutlets or keema balls. This is one of the basic chicken mince recipes. Instructions to make Chicken Keema / Mince Masala:
- Heat a pan on a medium flame and add oil - - - When hot add cumin seeds and let it crackle
- Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick & Saute for few seconds
- Add chopped onions and saute until translucent - - - Once onion changes it's colour - add ginger garlic paste and give it a mix
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and stir well
- Add minced chicken and mix well with onions and spices until well combined
- Add tomato puree, curd, green chilli, salt as per taste - keep stiring until mixed well
- Add coriander leaves and give it a mix again - - - Add 1 glass water - cover it with a lid and let it cook for 30 minutes
- Keema masala is now ready - add few coriander leaves give it a mix
- Turn off the flame and remove it in a serving dish - - -
