- Prepare 11/2 cup whole wheat flour
- Take 1/2 cup soya flour
- Get 1 tsp ghee/oil

- Take to taste Salt
- Make ready 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- Take 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Try this healthy recipe for a paratha bursting with the goodness of multi-grains. Add onion, green chilli, coriander, curry leaves and salt in a wide mixing bowl. Healthy and yummy all in one neat little package! As you remove each paratha from the pan, store it in an insulated container lined with a paper towel to keep it warm and prevent it from becoming soggy.
Steps to make Healthy green paratha:
- Combine all the ingredients for dough and mix well.
- Knead to make soft dough using enough water.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. While the dough is resting make the stuffing for the paratha.
- For stuffing:- Firstly in a blender take green peas, sprouts, ginger, garlic and green chilli blend to coursely paste.
- Now add in crushed paste boiled potatoes, spring onion, capsicum, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Now add all spices, salt and mix well.
- Take out stuffing in a bowl and set aside.
- To make the paratha take a small amount of dough and shape it round ball shape.
- With the help of rolling pin roll the dough into a circle.
- Apply 1/4 tsp of ghee/oil all over and place 2 tbsp of stuffing in centre.
- Gather all the edges and pinch them together forming a seal.
- Flatten using you fingers and roll again into a circle of 1/8 inch thickness.
- Place the paratha on heated tawa and cook each side with 1/2 tsp oil.
- Until light golden brown spots appear on both sides.
- Apply ghee/oil both sides and cook till paratha has brown patches all over.
- Serve hot with yoghurt, sliced onion, pickle and chutney.
