Steps to make Lemon ka khatta meetha achaar:
- Cut lemon in very small pieces removing all seeds. mix salt and keep them in sun for 15-20 days in an airtight glass jar
- In between keep on shaking them
- Make a syrup of jaggery with double water and let it boil on slow flame
- Dry roast carrom seeds, fennel seeds and grind coarsely
- Add this carromand fennel powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and cook for 2 mins
- Let this syrup cools then add it in lemon jar and again keep in sun I is ready in next few days
