  2. Get 200 gms noodles
  3. Prepare 400 ml water
  4. Get 1 tbsp oil

  8. Make ready 1 cup tofu or cottage cheese/ paneer, cut into cubes
  9. Prepare 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  10. Make ready 3 green chillies, finely chopped
  11. Make ready 1/4 cup thin jullienes of French beans
  12. Prepare 1/2 cup thin jullienes of carrot
  13. Get 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  14. Get 1/4 cup thin jullienes of capsicum
  15. Make ready 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  16. Make ready 3/4 cup roasted and ground peanuts
  17. Make ready 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  18. Get 1 tbsp sugar
  19. Take 2 tbsp lemon juice
  20. Make ready 2 tbsp chopped celery
  21. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped spring onions
  22. Take to taste Salt and pepper
Steps to make Kuai-Tiao Phat-Khil-Mao:
  1. Put the water in a casserole dish(large one and uncovered). Boil in a microwave on high for 5-6 mins.
  2. Add the noodles, salt and 1 tsp oil. Cook on high for 3 minutes. Stir and then again for 3 minutes until almost cooked(instant noodles take less time).
  3. Stand for 10 minutes. Drain off the water and pour clean water over the noodles to remove stickiness. Add 1 tsp oil, toss well to separate noodles.
  4. Take 3 tablespoons of oil in a large casserole dish and add Basil leaves. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Take the leaves out of oil and keep aside.
  5. Add tofu or paneer pieces to the same oil and saute on high for 2 minutes. Take out and set aside.
  6. Take the remaining 3 tablespoons of oil in the casserole dish. Heat on high for 1 minute. Add the garlic and chillies and, saute on high for 1 minute.
  7. Add the French beans and carrot julienne. Mix and cover with a microwave-proof lid. Microwave on high for 3 minutes until semi-cooked. Add bean sprouts, capsicum and mushrooms. Mix lightly and cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  8. Add the roasted peanuts and mix well. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper and celery. Mix well.
  9. Now add the cooked noodles and tofu or paneer pieces. Toss well and Microwave on high for 2 minutes till the noodles are piping hot.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with spring onions and sauted Basil leaves
