  1. Prepare 2 beetroot (chopped)
  2. Take 1 onion (chopped)

  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Oil

  6. Get 1/2 tsp urad dhal
  7. Make ready 1 dry red chilli
  8. Take 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  9. Get 1 tbsp grated coconut

Instructions to make Beetroot Poriyal:
  1. Heat oil, add mustard and allow to splutter. Add dry chilli and urad dhal fry till golden.
  2. Now add curry leaves followed by onion. Saute till translucent.
  3. Add the beetroot, chilli powder and salt. Mix well. Add little water enough to cook the beetroot. Cover with and lower the flame.
  4. When cooked. Add coconut and garnish with coriander leaves.ready to serve.
