  5. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. Take 1 tsp dhanya jeera powder
  7. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Make ready Pinch asafoetida
  9. Take as per taste Salt

Steps to make Bottle gourd:
  1. Firstly wash& soak yellow moong dal for 1/2 an hr
  2. Peeled and wash bottlegourd & chopped into medium size pieces (cubes)
  3. Boil the bottlegourd along with soaked yellow moong dal in pressure cooker for about one whistle.
  4. When cooled completely then open the cooker.
  5. In a kadhai add tomato paste, saute till it becomes soft.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste & saute.
  7. Add turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, dhanya jeera powder & mix well.
  8. Now add cooked bottlegourd, saltas per taste, chopped coriander leaves & cook for 4/5 minutes on low flame.
  9. Serve with hot fulka or chapati.
