- Heat oil add vadies fry till it becomes golden brown and keep aside
- Now add more oil in the pan and temper celery,black jeera and green chillies
- Add chopped and sliced gourd and pumpkin
- Add salt and turmeric powder and mix
- Cover it for cooking well
- As it get cooked and the water disappears add the vadies and sugar,mix well
- Finally add coriander leaves and serve
