- Take 1 teaspoon red or green chilli sauce
- Take 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Take to taste Salt and black pepper Powder
Instructions to make Veggie Manchurian Balls:
- Combine all the mixed vegetable in a large bowl, add salt and soy sauce so the mixture so it releases all the water.
- Squeeze out all the water and Put that in a different bowl.
- Add ginger garlic pepper powder plain flour and cornflour. Only add enough flour to give it a binding.
- Knead it into a dough like mixture.Divide the mixture into 8 to 10 balls of bite size round balls.
- Once the oil is preheated in the deep frying pan; add about 5-6 balls at a time into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Fry on medium heat so the balls get cooked from the inside. - Drain the excess oil from Manchurian balls.
- Manchurian Sauce - - In a small mixing bowl; add in the 1 tbsp corn flour along with 2 tbsp of water or vegetable stock. Stir to combine the flour into the water and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or frying pan on high heat; add garlic, ginger, green chillies, spring onions and stir fry for a few seconds.
- Now add soy sauce, ketchup, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, pepper powder and salt. Stir in 1cup of water.
- Add the corn flour mixture to the above wok and cook for a few minutes until thick and the corn flour is cooked. - Adjust the seasoning if required.Serve hot with rice or Noodles.
