- Soak dal in water for half hour.
- Take a pressure cooker add oil & heat it. add ginger paste and saute.
- Add onion and tomatoes and cook for 3-4 min.
- Add spices and saute for 2-3 min.
- Add dal and cut ghiya in it and cook for 3 min.
- Add required water and close the lid of cooker.
- Cook till two whistle.
- Now ready to serve.
